“You had someplace to stay last night? Well stay there again. You say you can’t afford to/ are not allowed to stay there again? Then sleep on the street tonight and *maybe* we’ll help you tomorrow”
Services are available on a first come first serve basis between these hours only. If you show up early then fuck you we’re not helping you. Also we might decide not to help you anyway because lol fuck you
“This resource is currently unavailable, we have no idea when it will be available again, please stop asking”
“Resources? Oh yes, we have those, just-” *produces a set of flaming hoops* “jump thru these really quick. You say you can’t? Well I guess you dont need help after all, goodbye”
Actual good resource, but so swamped and underfunded that they’ll never actually be able to help you
Anyway, I’m really struggling
I’m on a bunch of waiting lists for help finding housing, but there’s no telling when or if anything will come through for me. I have a motel room thru tomorrow night, $14 left in the bank, and a couple bucks change in my pockets that will hopefully be enough to wash and dry a load of laundry since I haven’t had clean clothes to wear in over a week
If you can help by donating or boosting this post, I’d be extremely grateful

Thank you all so much! I now have guaranteed shelter until Sunday morning (4/11)
Unfortunately, I’m now also sick 😷
Getting a covid test, hopefully it’s just a cold, but isolating myself until I know for sure
I hate to keep begging, but I’m still in a really tough spot
It’s International Romani Day! Today is a day of awareness and education about our culture, our history and the issues we still face today, chief of which is the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that still affects numerous Romani communities abroad. Romani Herstory, a digital archive about the lives of Romani actors, activists and artists, has started up an emergency donation fund in light of Italian fascists reporting other donation accounts to support Italian Sinti/Roma communities. Donate to the Ko-Fi!
Also, my friend Morena is still accepting donations for the Sinti/Roma community in Turin, who are also experiencing extreme prejudice and violence from Italian fascists! Donate to her Pool!
E-Romnja is a grassroots organization that is also accepting donations to support Romani communities who are being impacted by the pandemic. Donate!
Finally, check out this post to donate to other Romani organizations, but also check out the additional donation links! It’ll be frequently updated!
“My contemporaries were all doing slasher-horror movies. John Carpenter was the guy I idolized the most. He made Halloween
for $30,000 or something. That was everyone’s break-in dream, to do a
stylish horror movie. It was a very slasher film type image. And it
really was the launching pad for the story.”
